July 19, 2014 2012 - The 2012 Enecks Reunion was held at a another new venue - Buck Creek United Methodist Church (not the Community Center). July 21, 2012 2011 - The 2011 Enecks Reunion was held at a another new venue - Nan & Roy's Place in North Carolina. October 15, 2011 2010 - The 2010 Enecks Reunion was held at a new venue - Roswell, Georgia. October 9, 2010 2009 - The 2009 Enecks Reunion was held again at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center . August 15, 2009 2008 - The 2008 Enecks Reunion was held again at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center . August 9, 2008 2007 - The 2007 Enecks Reunion was held again at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center . July 21, 2007 2006 - The 2006 Enecks Reunion was held at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center . 2005 - The 2005 Enecks Reunion was held at the Buck Creek Community Center on July 9, 2005. 2004 - The 2004 Enecks Reunion was held at the Buck Creek Community Center on July 10, 2004. 2003 - The 2003 Enecks Reunion was held at the Buck Creek Community Center on July 12, 2003. 2002 - The 2002 Enecks Reunion was held at the Buck Creek Community Center at Sylvania, GA., on July 13, 2002. 2001 - The 2001 Enecks reunion was graciously hosted by Charles and Wanda Dickson. The reunion was held Saturday, July 14th, in Greenvillle, SC. |

I was looking in my big book of Enecks documents and saw a copy of a deed made to William Enecks in 1857 for two tracts of land, one contained 350 acres on the Savannah River, the other contained 3050 acres., the price for both being $6,000.00. They moved from SC in 1858, thinking the cotton would make them rich. Then came the war, and instead of riches they got poverty. Here's a picture of the old home place back in its days of glory.
